Devils Take (or share) is a term used by whisky distillers for the whisky which is absorbed by the wood barrels during the aging process. Seeing that these rings are made by using reclaimed wood staves from these barrels, it only makes sense we call it the “Devils Take”.
Whisky, the oil of conversation, the philosophic wine, the ale that is consumed when good fellows get together, that puts a song in the heart, laughter on the lips and the warm glow of contentment in your eyes... This my friends is the perfect pair for the ones who appreciate these good times. A conversation piece to show off with your fellow whisky sippers, or to just simply collect as a keep sake to pass on to young ones as a heirloom... Though not flashy, it has become one of my favorite styles; simply for the stories that can be shared, conversations that can be sparked and the history behind the materials origin of use. This one can’t be missed. Be good and drink responsibly.
